The wear resistance of copper sleeves is related to many factors:
A. The magnitude of the force on the copper sleeve. When the force on the copper sleeve is large, materials with higher hardness should be used. When the force is small, materials with lower hardness should be used;
B. The harder the material of the steel parts in contact with the copper parts, the harder the material of the copper parts should also be, but it should not exceed the hardness of the steel parts, otherwise it will scratch the steel parts, accelerate the wear of the steel parts, cause greater damage, and fail to protect the steel parts;
C. The relative velocity of friction, the faster the relative velocity of friction, the softer the hardness of copper parts, and the higher the heat transfer coefficient;
D. The fitting clearance during installation, if the accuracy is high enough, should be as small as possible. However, the thermal expansion phenomenon of copper and steel parts after temperature rise should be considered to prevent the occurrence of sticking and burning tiles;
E. Cleanliness of lubricating oil: Lubricating oil should use the corresponding design grade to achieve the corresponding viscosity and flash point, and special attention should be paid to the filtering system of lubricating oil. If there are excessive impurities in the oil, it will accelerate the wear of the copper sleeve. If the oil is too dirty and viscous, it will block the oil circuit, quickly burn and crack the copper tile;
F. The ambient temperature during use and the temperature of the lubricating oil. If the ambient temperature is too high and the cooling system of the lubricating oil is not good, it will reduce the lubrication effect of the lubricating oil and accelerate the wear of copper parts;
G. The material of copper parts is the key to the service life of copper sleeves: using the materials marked on the drawings and copper sleeves made according to national standards is an important factor in preventing copper sleeve wear. If mixed copper or scrap copper is used, its thermal conductivity, friction coefficient, and tensile and compressive strength cannot meet the specified requirements, then the service life of copper sleeves is naturally not guaranteed;
